Nothing to do. Walked about four miles. Crossing two bridges across the French Broad and visiting the Univ. of Tennessee campus. No movies open on Sunday. Read detective stories. Felt much better.
This blog features the personal diaries of John Hamilton Ruckman (1888-1966). Ruckman was the son of Gen. John W. Ruckman and a graduate of M.I.T. and the University of California. He was also an Army captain in World War I and a colonal in World War II. These entries cover the period Ruckman served as chief engineer for the Fercleve Corporation, Oak Ridge, TN (the Manhattan Project).
